The West Madison Kings:

The West Madison Kings are a professional national and international touring band based out of Chicago, Illinois U.S.A.Their music is post-war Chicago Blues with a pool splash of Rock & Roll plus a knife spread of jam that keeps the viewers interested and groovin' all night long!

The band is generated around singer/pianist "One Take Willie" who is known for his comedic storytelling honky tonk piano playing. Guitarist singer/songwriter Eddie Neese aka "Rockin' Eddie" who is known for a "no rules" approach to his slide guitar and lead guitar playing. Rockin' Eddie comes with a long history of playing the blues including with The Jimmy Reed Family Band, The Chicago Blues Museum All-Stars and more. Longtime Lonnie Brooks on the skins who needs no introduction! Kevin Mitchell holds down the beat. Southside bassist singer/songwriter Michael McCune with a long list of history including Bo Do Diddley holds the bottom down. For over 35 years they have performed all over from neighborhood bars to high profile festivals and private events.

The West Madison Kings are known for bringing local Legends/friends with them on many shows to always keep things fresh! You may have seen them backing and playing along with Blues Legend Bob Stroger over the past 20 years, including Chicago Blues festival June 10 2022. You are surely in for a fun night with this band!
